In 1968 tailor John O’Brien opened the doors of family business John Laurence Suit Hire and Menswear with two important objectives in mind, to always keep the customers needs at the centre of his business and to smartly dress the men of Dublin!
Having trained in London as a high-class master tailor John brought skill and the personal touch to the growing suit hire business in Dublin. Almost 40 years on John Laurence has grown into a successful business offering customers an extensive range of Dress Wear and Tailored clothing with individual tastes and requirements at the fore.Ranging from Classic Wedding attire and Popular Highland Wear to contemporary tailor-made suits for the man of today. Keeping the ‘little man’ in mind, John Laurence specialises in Page Boy Wear to match the ‘big man’ on that special day!
In 2005 Black Bow at John Laurence launched to the ever growing market for smart evening, morning and wedding wear in Dublin.
